To Whom It May Concern:
In the spring of 2001 we (Starland Metals) decided to build a Shop with a warehouse in the back and offices in the front. We also wanted a beautiful showroom and two conference rooms for business meetings. We were very busy at that time and we needed help with our big project.
One of the shop supervisors had heard of a contractor from Green Isle Minnesota called Dan Vos, We made a couple phone calls to Vos Construction a week later Dan Vos came to visit After our first visit we discussed and decided not to take any bids from anyone else and give project to Mr. Vos.
Our project was a 160' x 300' metal shop and everything else we had ever wanted. We started moving dirt in the summer of 2001. Vos started the footing in October of 2001 by July of 2002 they were finished with the main part of the building the offices. Our secretaries were excited and impressed. They couldn't wait to move in and get started. The offices were textured, painted and finished by our own carpenter crew. It was a two level 60' x 80' office building. In September of 2002 we had a finished metal shop.
We were very pleased and blessed with how the project went. Problems or any obstacles were handled professionally and in a timely manner. We strongly recommend Vos Construction to any one how needs a big building project done.
Sincerely,
David Decker Jr.

Dear Dan Vos,
I want to commend you and Vos Construction for the quality of professionalism, workmanship and attention you gave us during all phases of the building project at our pharmaceutical facility in Saint Peter, Minnesota. This was the second project I have been involved with you. Once again you went above and beyond my expectations to provide help in every phase of construction from site selection to design and budgeting.
I will not consider using any other contractor but Vos Construction for future projects.
Here are a few great qualities Vos Construction has consistently exemplified:
- Workmanship and professionalism was exceptional.
- You worked diligently to reduce project costs without cutting any corners.
- Both projects came in under budget! WOW!
- Both projects were done on schedule.
- Attention to detail was outstanding.
- You stand behind your work and follow up promptly.
You made me feel like your most important client.
Thank you for another outstanding job! You have earned my complete trust and confidence.

 To whom it may concern;
Waconia Farm Supply has dealt with Vos Construction on several remodeling projects involving our store. They have been very good to work with and the quality of their work is impeccable. Dan, Jim, and Mike, have always been very open minded as to the projects and have given valuable advice and suggestions throughout the project. They have completed our projects in a timely manner and if problems arose later they were there to correct them.
I have recommended Vos Construction in the past and will continue to recommend them in the future. If you have any questions or concerns please give me a call.
Sincerely,

This letter is to inform you regarding our experience with Vos Construction Company. They had originally bid on our gym, but we received a lower bid from another company. Unfortunately the reason the bid was lower was because of their construction and engineering. The gym lasted only six years and had to be torn down.
Vos construction again bid to replace the bad construction and was the lowest bidder. The workers have been terrific and our relationship to them has been outstanding. They kept us infonned regarding the work and went out of their way to do the work correctly. When the architect did not include something that would make the building better, they pointed out what could make the new gym even better. They fmished their work on time.
One of the great things about this company was they never tried to intimidate me. If I had a question they checked it out and were very respectful. Secondly, because we are a Christian Church and School, I never felt that the language or the music that was being played by the workers were inappropriate. The quahty of their work was excellent and although they could have made a mess saying this is the construction site, they tried very hard to minimize any damage the construction equipment made to the surrounding landscape.
I have worked on construction projects both on churches and schools as a laborer and I would say that this company and its workers are top notch. I have total trust in what they say, they will do.
If you have any questions regarding our experience, please feel free to contact me.

Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church & School
www.EmanuelHamburg.org Dear Dan,
As the chairman of the Watertown Evangelical Free Church Building committee, I want to formally commend and thank you and your team for the excellent job you did with our new facility! We are more than satisfied with the quality, the cost-effectiveness and the service your company delivered.
The care at which your guys and sub-contactors performed their duties really shows. You made this 12,000+ square foot steel building look perfectly natural attached to our 40 year old colonial church. Starting with the foundation work, your close attention tO detail made for a sound and esthetically pleasing building.
When something that looked good on paper did not look right in real-life, you brought these to our attention and fostered collaboration between the architects, engineers, subcontractors (and, when necessary, building officials) to come up with a suitable solution.
Not only did you deliver an excellent product, you made the process of getting there much easier than I could have imagined. Whenever issues came up, I always felt like you were looking out for our interest. You never abdicated nor implied "it's not our problem" but, instead, owned each issue until we were satisfied.
Our congregation really went out on a limb financially with this project and thus had no room for cost overruns. Your diligence in managing your subs and identifying opportunities for us to reduce expense enabled the project to come in on budget. I manage project and operational budgets in my profession and plus or minus 3% is considered a success. You managed the unexpected expenses of our project to less than 1% of plan!
Even now, you continue to be responsive to our questions and minor issues that inevitably come up as the building gets used. I cannot express my deep appreciation for all you've done for us. Perhaps, I could be a reference for you some time? Feel free to share my name and contact information with prospective clients.
Thank you again, Dan: to you, your brothers and your team for delivering to us an excellent building. You were truly an answer to prayer!
Sincerely,
David Peterson
Building Committee Chair I Trustee buildcomm@WEvFree.org www.WEvFree.org To whom it may concern,
I wholeheartedly recommend Dan Vos and Vos Construction.
Vos Construction built our new Family Life Center in 2005. It was a 1.2 million dollar project. A major emphasis in our church was to keep the project under budget. Dan worked hard to ensure that we kept that commitment with our people. In the end, we came just under budget - within about $3,000.
We wanted a very functional building that would also be attractive. Dan helped us to achieve that goal as well. It was our desire that the building would be so nice that community organizations would desire to use our building. We are constantly being approached by different community groups who would like to use our new facility.
We found Dan, his brother Mike, and the entire organization to be people of character who kept their word and did excellent work. They bent over backwards to make us happy. And. they succeeded.
Please call me if I can be of any further help.
Sincerely,
Pastor Greg Stone

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the School Staff and the Building Committee to express their gratitude, as well as my own in all your efforts that made the construction of our new Elementary Building a wonderilil experience and not the chaos many schools encounter with additions such as ours.
It was a pleasure to work with your company. This was my first opportunity to be involved with a "Design / Build" project. I felt that we, the owner, were always in control and were able to make choices on those items that seem to arise and become a matter for interpretation. Your diligence in arriving at great solutions simplified the problems into what I might term as opportunities. Your skills as the Construction Managers, made the few, inevitable change orders we did have an occasion to improve and or affect a savings on the building's construction.
Your Company's well known reputation and my experience give me the satisfaction to not only thank you, but to highly recommend your company without reservation to anyone. Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time. (320-485-2351)
Respectfully Yours,

 Dear Dan and Mike:
Cornerstone State Bank would like to thank you for your cooperation, construction, and finely the food and beverages for our open house. It was all a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the construction period with minimum changes and change orders. The project looks absolutely great and we have significantly increased the traffic flow and usability of the bank building.
It sure was a surprise to hear the pizza was supplied by Vos Construction. It is always nice to have those kinds of surprises and they are greatly appreciated. I'm sure there will more projects down the road, either with the bank or bank customers. We will cross paths on these and I will always highly recommend your firm.

Letter of Recommendation for Vos Construction, Inc.
As a pastor of three parishes, I have had the good fortune and positive experience of contracting with Vos Construction, Inc. on numerous parish projects over the last nine years. Most recently, they completed in a very timely manner the difficult removal of every 45 year old window in our large worship area of St. Mary Parish in Arlington, MN. Seven and a half foot tall stained glass windows were incorporated into the 23 foot openings and Vos Construction, Inc. installed insulated wall sections above and below the windows using an EIFS application both inside and outside the building.
If you want to consult or work with a trustworthy, family-owned company with expertise and know-how in building design, construction, remodeling and repair, I would highly recommend Vos Construction, Inc. If you want to deal with individuals who listen and aim to please, who are creative, who stay in communication, meet deadlines to the very best of their ability and who quickly respond with their assessment and assistance with any issues after a job is complete or when new issues arise with any building, you cannoth go wrong with Vos Construction, Inc. These are honorable, respectful and honest craftsmen who do top quality work and who stand behind their work. I simply do not hesitate to call on them for any of our building and repair needs.
Sincerely Yours,
Fr. Jerry Paulson Pastor
Dear Mike:
Perhaps belatedly, I want to write to thank you and everyone at Vos Construction for all of your efforts in building the Academic Building at New Sweden Dairy. The whole project was unique; no one has ever undertaken such a complex merger of an academic and dormitory facility in the midst of an operating dairy. The unique nature brought with it an incredible number of challenges for which there was no precedent and that required intelligent, practical, and cost effective solutions.
From the early planning to the final details, I was impressed with your willingness to work effectively to meet our functional needs and budget constraints. I particularly appreciate the many times that you stepped back from the blueprints, recognized possible problems (both in construction and in potential later use), and found a practical solution. This was a key aspect of our project and your experience, creativity and flexibility meant that we got a much more functional and aesthetically pleasing building as a result.
I know that there were many times when you had to juggle priorities, work crews, and the challenge of working on a site where there was also a start-up dairy to contend with. Through it all, you kept a cool head, rolled with the changing demands, plans and incredibly adverse weather conditions to get the job done and get the job done right.
I want you to know that I will always appreciate all that you and your company did.
Sincerely,
John Fetrow VMD, MBA

Dear Dan and Mike:
We wanted to thank you for the outstanding job you did on our building renovation project that you recently completed. We thorughly enjoyed working with both of you and your crew. You are a very professional and service oriented group.
We appreciated how you listened to our ideas and also gave your ideas and suggestions based on your experience and expertise. In this way, we were able to come up with a design that we were really happy with that could actually work from a construction stand point.
We were very pleased with how everything turned out and were impressed with the quality of workmanship that you and the subcontractors you selected provided. We have received so many compliments about how the project turned out.
Thanks again for the excellent job you did. We will definitely recommend you to others who are looking for a construction company that is honest, professional and great to work with.
Sincerely,

From: Larry Webber
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the Staff for another great project.
Little has changed since the first time I used VC back in the 80's when I found the company to be honest, punctual and pleasant, while providing outstanding workmanship with the utmost of integrity. I'm delighted to say, this same great service was repeated on a more recent project.
It is a pleasure to work with a contractor who was there, hands-on, for all the needs of my project. As those in the building industry know, things don't always go as planned. As those situations arose during my projects, you were there with suggestions and alternatives while answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. And where it counts the most, you stand behind your finished work.
I look forward to the next project that allows me to contract the services of Vos Construction.
Thank you again.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Larry Webber
